The Combi-Lift Pre-Cultivator fits directly to the tractor linkage and incorporates a rear clevis which can be used to pull a cultivator or drill. Furthermore, the machine can also be fitted with Stealth 15mm low-disturbance legs to enable light loosening of compaction without heave in min-till or direct drilling situations.
The Combi-Lift comes in 3m (5 leg), 4m (7 or 8 leg) and 6m (11 or 12 leg) models, the hydraulic folding machines folding down to 2.5m transport width.
FEATURES & BENEFITS
Subsoiling Depth
All Combi-Lifts can be used at a working depth of up to 350mm (14") enabling them to alleviate most types of soil pan and compaction. Adjustment is either manual on the mounted machines with a pin and hole system or Hydraulic, from the tractor seat, on trailed models.
Rear Heavy Duty Clevis
A heavy duty rear clevis ensures heavy machines like drills can be pulled behind the Combi-Lift.
Shearbolt
The Combi-Lift “Hammer-Thru” quick change shear bolt system protects the machine in tough, stony conditions and means minimum down time for the operator. Its “tolerance style” shearbolt allows several resets before the need for a change.
Alternatively, there is a Hydraulic Reset Subsoiler version for extremely stony conditions.
Hydraulic Reset
It incorporates two Hydraulic Accumulators (See below) and a pressure gauge to allow the operator to set the pressure on the legs dependant on working depth. The Hydraulic Reset system allows the legs to trip back when they hit an obstacle and then reset automatically on the move once the obstacle has been cleared.
Combi-Lift Points
HE-VA leg design on the Combi-Lift means that the single piece winged point lifts, cracks and fissures at depth without huge power requirement. The standard long life cast point has a 200mm wide wing.
Hardox points are available in narrower versions at 80mm and 120mm widths and wider versions at 300mm and 350mm to suit different applications.
Bolt on points using a single bolt are quickly replaced keeping down time to a minimum.
As from 2009 the new cast point on the Combi-Lift Subsoiler should approximately give you 30% better wear rates than the old Hardox point.
Stealth 15mm LD Leg & Point Option
The Stealth 15mm low disturbance leg and tungsten tipped low disturbance Stealth point are also the product of many years development. Whilst many customers are moving towards reduced tillage systems they appreciate that drainage is key to crop development, allowing timely field operations and preventing the relentless progress of grass weeds such as blackgrass. The low disturbance leg and point that HE-VA has developed allows deep soil loosening whilst minimising surface disturbance and preventing mixing of the soil profile.
The thinner legs are made from stronger Hardox steel and can be interchanged with the standard 25mm subsoiler legs as necessary. However, it is the point that really makes the difference. The Stealth point has a shallower wing angle and shorter tungsten tipped nose that opens the soil to create drainage without disturbing the whole soil profile.
