The HE-VA Multi-Seeder and Multi-Seeder Twin have been developed to work in combination with HE-VA cultivation and grassland machinery.
Whilst the seeders themselves ensure precise seed rates, simple calibration and simple to use controls, the fitting kits that HE-VA have developed allow easy, safe access and provide for all seed placement requirements.

ISOBUS, iSOCAN Artemis control, is standard on Twin Multi-Seeders, and an option on the single hopper Multi-Seeder
A selection of different seed rollers ensures that on a 3m Grass Rejuvenator the Multi-Seeder achieves an even spread pattern for grass reseeding. Similarly band seeding of Oilseed Rape at an ultra low seed rate can be achieved on a Subsoiler. Furthermore the Twin Multi-Seeder allows a single control box to be used for OSR seed and slug pellet or fertiliser application at the same time.
Available as standard with twin electric fans, or as a Pro version with a hydraulic fan for increased air flow when used on wider implements and more demanding situations.
Multi-Seeders supplied with an Evolution or Subsoiler & Stealth models are supplied with a single fine roller.
HE-VA offer complete Multi-Seeder mounting kits for:
Tip Roller, Tip Roller XL, Grass Roller, Disc Roller Contour, Disc Roller XL Contour, Combi-Disc, Triple Tiller, Subsoiler and Stealth. Mounting kits are supplied as standard with the Grass Rejuvenator and Evolution.
FEATURES & BENEFITS
Single or Twin Metering System
The Multi-Seeder can be supplied with a single or twin metering system, the twin model allows a single control box to be used for OSR seed and slug pellet or fertiliser application at the same time.
Even Seed Distribution
The Multi-Seeder can be used for either band application (recommended for OSR) or to spread seed evenly across the whole width.
The standard broadcasting outlets spread the seed in a overlapping pattern for an even full width coverage. Alternatively modified outlets are used for band application of seed into rows. The seed placement is adjusted by changing the height of the distribution outlet, this will give you wider or narrower bands.
Precise Seed Metering
A selection of different seed rollers ensure that whatever the application requirements e.g. even spread (grass seed), band seeding at ultra low rate (OSR) the correct rate can be achieved. The seed rollers available are as follows: grain/fertiliser seed roller, coarse seed roller, medium seed roller, fine seed roller, large hollow seed roller and small hollow seed roller.
Furthermore, the Twin Multi-Seeder allows a single control box to control both hoppers independently e.g. OSR and slug pellets or fertiliser at the same time at different rates.
Fine and coarse seed rollers are supplied as standard. A single fine roller is supplied with the Multi-Seeder for the Evolution, Subsoiler and Stealth.
There are 8 or 12 seed outlets as standard but it is possible to blank off a number of them using the Blanking Roller and Stop Kit, for example for applying seed in a band behind a five-leg subsoiler with one outlet per leg, running directly in-line with each leg.
RATE CONTROL
Forward speed control, i.e. seed roller metering, can be mechanically driven for the Grass Rejuvenator Multi-Seeder, or on all other Multi-Seeder models, controlled by GPS and driven by electric motor (EL). Pneumatic distribution is either via electric fan or, by hydraulic fan on all Pro models.
ISOBUS is standard on Twin Multi-Seeders, and an option on the single hopper Multi-Seeders.
The amount of seed applied is controlled by the speed of the metering roller, this is adjusted until the desired application rate is achieved.
The control box in the cab allows setting and adjustment on the move. Calibration is performed by removing the metering roller cover and using a calibration bag.

Forward Speed Related Metering
The Multi-Seeder comes with a GPS receiver to give constant forward speed related metering.
On some tractors it is possible to connect to the tractors own forward speed monitoring system. Forward speed related metering means accurately maintained application rates on high draft machines and in awkwardly shaped fields where ground speed may vary.
If a mechanical driven model is chosen then a land wheel & cable system are used giving accurate forward speed related metering
Robust Build
The Multi-Seeder is supplied with a strong mounting plate which assist fitting to whatever cultivation machine is chosen. The hopper and chassis are built to withstand the rigors of high speed seeding in arduous conditions.
